I think the quote that best resembels my life is "Rather than love, than money, than fame, give me truth. I see this to be my favorite quote because love comes and goes; just as money comes into my pocket is just as quick as it goes into someone elses, and being famous can just lead to more problems. When your in a relationship, you think that its going to last but just as you start thinking that, problems arise and the relationship is over. As soon as you get paid and get a good amount of money in your pocket, you feel the need to go shopping, and all the money you just made or got is now gone. Lastly, being famous or popular can be good but it can also lead to the lose of friends how everyone tends to know all your personal business, which can lead to unwanted drama. I feel like just being true to yourself and staying away from dramatic people who like to be involved in everyones life is the best way to stay happy.

I think that Thoreau's quote "Most of the luxuries and many of the
so-called comforts of life are not only not indispensible, but positive hinderances to the elevation of mankind."is most applicable to my life. This quote is applicable to my life because I get wrap up in a lot of tchnology and luxuries. For example, instead of going to the library and reading book for resaerch, I will look up that same topic on the internet. I also get rides from school and home, when I easily could walk to the same places. The modern technology has made my life easier for me.

To me Thoreau's quote "Things don't change, we change" most resembles my life because throughout my high school years I've noticed changes in people and some were for the good and others the worse. I feel that a lot of my peers have matured not only with their attitudes but with school work and wanting to go to college. That relates to me because I think that I've become more serious about getting ready for college and realizing that high school dosen't last forever. So basically people changing can sometimes be bad but in most cases its good.

I think two of Thoreau's quotes really hit home. The first one was "Beware of all enterprises that require new clothes." This one just really made me think about myself because I'm always trying to get into so many different things now and days. I'm trying to stay away from the things that i know will change my personaliy. I don't want to wake up one morning and not like or be ashamed of the person i have come to be because of the things i have done. The other quote that really got me was "On tops of mountains as everywhere to hopeful souls, it is always morning." I was feeling this one because no matter how much dumb stuff has happened to me i try to stay positive. Yeah it's true that when something bad happens to me i feel sad or angry at first which is normal but once the initial feeling is over my heart becomes this shield that protects my thoughts and emotions with the positive things that are in my life now.

i think the quote that resembles my life best is "Things Don't Change We Change" because its true.
nothing is goin to change for us. if we wanted to get on a certain ride and we werent tall enough then, but the next year we was able to get on that ride, did we change or did the ride change? we changed because the height requirement didnt get smaller but we grew taller. same with lfe. if we want something to change like our circumstances or our attitude. its not goin to change unless we change our way of life or how we do things. so things don't change we change.

I think the quote "Things don't change we change" is most applicable to my life. Why? Because life is a mystery first off, we never know whats in store for us next. I believe that if we continue to do things that are not right, than that's not the problem we are. Only we can make the change and move forward in life, the things we do can not. You can go all your life knowing that the darkness will always come to light, meaning that the things you do that no one knows about will eventually set sail and come to surface. Life is a game, you can play it by living each day to the best of your abilities or you can learn from it by changing your ways for the better.

The quote that I feel most applies to life is "All this worldly wisdom was once the amiable heresy of some wise man."
My reason for choosing this one is because the world is continuously changing and evolving socially, mentally, and technologically. Things that society used to say were so outrageous and farfetched are now consider just plain common sense. Once upon a time, the idea of a flying object was considered silly and impossible but now it's the most common source of travel. Once upon a time, a woman taking control of her destiny was considered so unrealistic and now women are becoming just as powerful as the men who never believed that we would ever make it to this point. All of these things and many more were all, for the most part, not considered reality, but someone's reality was that these dreams and aspirations can come true and eventually did and will continue to.

The quote that is most applicable to my life is "Things don't change we change." Things to me never change, we always change. As we grow day to day we change little by little. You have to check and look around you and see if you are changing for the good or the bad. To me I believe I'm changing for the good, because I have to take on the responsibility if not only taking care of myself but others.

The quote that is best applicable to my life is, "All this worldly wisdom was once the amiable herasy of some wise man."
I think this best describes my lifestyle bacause the things that I say and do may be weird at times but it all has meaning and purpose. When I am goofy I am trying to lighten my spirit or the spirits of others. When I offer advise I am sincere and I try to give my own experiences. For some time now, people have misunderstood my actions as the actions of a crazy person or something of that sort. But when the time comes when they apply the lessons or influences they learned from me, then they will realize that my words wasn't just the babble of some attention seaking drama queen but of a young woman wise beyond her years.

The quote that best resembles my life is "Things don't change, we change" because since high school i found that alot of people i hung around doesnt best fit my life. I had to realize that people are not going to change the way they act for you, you have to change within yourself and better yourself to not hang around what's never going to change. I found out alot of things or situations in my life is not changing for the best of me. I had to change and mature to know what best fits my life. So day after day i change to better myself and the people around me.

" Some circumstantial evidence is very strong, as when you find a trout in your milk." This means, to me, that some things cannot be overlooked. You may not have all of the evidence that you need to believe something. Though, if all of the evidence points in one direction your assumption may be true. I would apply this quote to my life in many ways. Sometimes you have to use what you know about a person to determine whether you want to develope a friendship or relationship with someone. If they have a bad history or is known as being phony I would seriously consider being around that person. This qoute is very useful for my life.

I feel that the quote "Beware of all enterprises that require new clothes" is applicable to my life. I feel that I have became who I am because I gained character by avoiding people that want others to follow them. I refused to change my ways for the amusement of others. I kept my independence and for that others were drawn to me. I was able to become comfortable with myself and allow others to do the same.

The quote from Thoreau which is most applicable to my life is,"It is never too late to give up your prejudices." One reason is because I was raised not to be judgemental. The most important factor of all may be that I am bi-racial. Having a white mother and a black father lets me be able to have two unique perspectives of the world. Whether society likes to admit it or not, a lot of races have preconcieved prejudices about the opposite race. I believe Thoreau's quote does not only relate to my life, but it is universal.

"Why should we be in such desperate haste to succeed, and in such desperate enterprises? If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer." I think this Quote is most applicable to my life. I know there are times when I try to compare myself by a standard that does not apply to me.I have to learn and teach myself that my personal levels of success is different from another's. It is important that I do not judge myself according to others because I will always end up dissappointed.
So I have to learn to accept the thing that I can accoplish and mst of all the things I cannot. Maybe just maybe some things are out of my legue.

I think that the qoute that is most applicable to my life is "It's never too late to change your prejudices." This qoute is most applicable to my life because I feel it's never too late to realize when something is wrong. Also there have been times in my life when I have downed someone or judged someone because of who they were, what they looked like, or where they're from without really getting to know them as an individual. After doing the wrong that's when I realized it was wrong and changed my attitude about the situation. I also feel that people may also look at me like that without even taking a second look at me, so I know how it feels and wouldn't want to make anybody feel that way.

In my opinion the quote that best fits my life is "Rather than love, than money, than fame, give me truth." The reason why is because if I can't have love in my life than I would rather have truth. If I had fame than everybody around me would be lying to me, trying to get on my good side for my money. Or they could encourage me to do something dumb to make me mess up my career. I think if I have truth than it is kind of like love because they must love you enough to tell you the truth.
